This are the unofficial system requirements for Assassin’s Creed
I’ve already played the PC version so I know what I’m talking about.I had a few friends play it also.
I have a core 2 duo at 1.75 Ghz 3gb ram and ge-force 8800 GTS and it worked great in full detail.
A friend played it on a MacBook Pro with G-force 8600 at 128 Mb of rams and still worked pretty smooth on low details.
Another friend played on a Athlon X2 4200+ 2gb of ram and G-force 8500 GT with 512 Mb and it worked in medium details.
Minimum System Requirements:
- Windows XP or Vista
- 2 GB RAM
- Dual core processor (Intel Pentium D or better)
- 256MB Direct3D 10 compatible video card, or Direct3D 9 card compatible with Shader Model 3.0 or higher
- DirectX compatible driver
- DVD-ROM dual-layer drive
- 16 GB free hard disk space
- DirectX libraries (included)
- Vista compatible sound card
- Keyboard, Mouse

Recommended System Requirements:
- Intel Pentium Core 2 Duo, or better processor
- 3 GB System RAM

hey, I have a ATI x700, which doesn’t support shader model 3.0, and the game detector complains about it. i tried to run the game and i can hear the sound but the picture just blinks between black and white. So, how can you say that a x200 is enough to play the game if i can’t play it with a x700? if you know how to get around this problem, please share! thank you very much!

This is shit, you know….?! We have to change almost always different parts of our computer when a new game is launched, ex. graphic card, cpu,etc…..This is not normal….
June 2, 2008 at 12:00 pm
yeah, “xx” I know, I’m thinking of going for a console from now on, I still have to decide if the features of a PC game are worth that much money that I have to spend on upgrades for my PC

@ Jeo , dude, you have problems with you operating system or you may be infected with viruses.
I played this game on a PC that didn’t even came close with your system.
I would scan for viruses. To begin check your task manager(ctrl + alt + delete) if you have XP and in task manager you have more than 38 proceses close them do the same if you have Vista, you shouldn’t have more than 42 in Vista. C
If this does not help write back, I’m sure it must work on your PC
